Don't you hate it when you wake up in the middle of the night from one of those dreams where you are falling? *growls and goes back to bed...well tries too*

My problem is I am a really light sleeper and lately I have just been crashing out and I have been waking up every hour or so for some stupid reason or another. Usually I will think about school or something. I am starting to get some sleep though now that I am getting into a system with school and stuff and the homework just wears me out cause there is so much of it. But occasionally I get those dreams where I am falling off a cliff or something and it takes me quite a while to get back to sleep You'd think I would have the water one since I almost drown when I was 5 and had to be brought back but I don't and I'm not even remotely afraid of the water either. But I fell when I was about 7 or 8 and screwed my back up and am terrified of heights. So maybe that is why the falling dream makes it so hard to go back to sleep. *shrugs* NoClouds have you tried taking a vitamin called melatonin? It is over the counter here in the U.S. and is used as a sleep aid and is usually found in the vitamin section. It can be beneficial if you have that much trouble sleeping. You might want to check it out....it comes in tea form too.

I hate sleeping in general. I can't remember when I last had a good nights sleep. First I can't fall asleep and then I wake up every 30-40 minutes. It sure sucks!!!
Hmmmm, thinking here.... I do remember when I last slept like a baby, it was when I was in Canada in 2003,....

Hi Everyone,
I dream weekly (or close to it) that I am smoking a cigarette. I am not sure why. Perhaps I should buy a book that analyzes dreams.
I smoked off and on for a few years, but it was never a big part of my life. I guess I did it for something to do. I wasn't addicted at all, and quit cold turkey 13 years ago.
I never think of (or crave) cigarettes during the day, but still have these dreams at night.
Does anyone have similiar dreams?
